Burton Civil Maintenance, in conjunction with Burton Contractors, were engaged by Transport for New South Wales to complete pedestrian improvement works at Garfield Road East in Riverstone. The project scope included:

• Concrete works, including installation of footpaths, median islands, kerbs and gutters and pram ramps
• Construction of stormwater facilities, including culverts and swales
• Installation of safety bollards
• Upgrade of existing bus stop facilities
• Installation of signage
• Landscaping works
