Burton Civil Maintenance were engaged by Connect Sydney to undertake an extension of the right turning slip lane on Lane Cove Road to Buffalo Road. The project scope included:

• Construction of slip lane using steel plates and limited time on road
• Demolition of existing median island including excavation
• Construction of rigid pavement and widening of existing slip lane including concrete road slab
• Traffic signals works including the upgrade of posts, cables and new saw cut detectors
• Reinstatement of the new median island, restoration of footpath
• Installation of thermoplastic line marking lanes, arrows and stop lines
• Stormwater restoration including patch repairs and relining
• Reinstatement of grass, turfs and shrubs
